The Nursing Foundation department also plays major role in helping nursing students to understand the code of ethics and professional conduct which are the mandatory rules of the nursing profession.

Community Health Nursing,now more than ever, is a challenging, evolving field of nursing practice-one that is on the cutting edge of many innovations in the health care delivery.It represents any effort to introduce and elaborate upon the basic scope and nature of contemporary community health nursing practice.Moreover, the department takes great interest in conducting public health projects and community welfare programs. Department of Child Health Nursing aims at teaching the care if neonates, children and adolescents to the nursing students based on the Indian Nursing Council curriculum. The department also actively participates in training the students to render service for the sick neonates,children and do research in the field of child health nursing

Mental health nurses are at the forefront of facilitating change,providing support and dealing with people of all ages from a wide range of backgrounds.We have offered an excellent standard of teaching with continuous support throughout the course, both in theory and in practice. The department have observed significant days like International Day of Older Persons, World Mental Health Day, International Day against Drug Abuse A and Illicit Trafficking etc.

The Obstetrics and Gynecological Nursing Department prepare nurses for leadership positions in nursing and health fields who can function as specialist nurse practitioners, consultants, administrations,e educationists and investigators towards the provision of quality professional services and perform the task holistically with reference to the women, neonates and their families
