Child Health Nursing is a science of child care., preventive as well as curative. It is concerned with the health of infants, children, adolescents, their growth and development of their attaining full potential as adults. Understanding of child care is essential for the nurse to gain an appreciation of treads leading to our present concepts and practices specific to children.
